TweetByMail Policy

Sending Email

The TweetByMail service is all about sending emails, but only those emails that you specifically ask for. Sometimes, depending on your settings, that could mean a lot of messages! If you don't like that, then change your settings to turn off emails, or contact us to ask for it to be done for you. Please don't report us for spamming. It only hurts those who do get some use out of the service.

Privacy Policy

Twitter Account Access: Using Twitter's oAuth system, TweetByMail will never ask for your account password directly. You always sign-in through Twitter.com, and specifically grant TweetByMail permission to take action on behalf of your account. This permission can be withdrawn at any time through your Twitter.com account settings.

Private/Protected Tweets: No information is stored regarding the updates you receive from TweetByMail. Tweets and commands that you send through the TweetByMail system may be logged for system maintenace and debugging, but are not stored for more than seven days.

Email Addresses: Your email addresses are stored in a protected database in order to send you the updates you request. The only additional messages you may receive would be regarding issues affecting your account. Your address is never sold, traded, or otherwise shared with anybody.

So you see, as a rule TweetByMail stores as little personal information as possible. We respect your privacy to the utmost.

Fair Use

I reserve the right to remove any TweetByMail account for any reason whatsoever. Specifically, I would be inclined to do so for any account that is using excessive resources, or using the service for "un-cool" things.

Warranty

Signing up for TweetByMail is done at your own risk. We offer no warranty or guarantees. The owner of TweetByMail is not in any way responsible for any damages that may result from use of these services. (I don't know what damage could be done by emails, but I have to say that.)
