Keyword tracking and alerts

One nice feature of TweetByMail is the ability to track keyowrds and receive email alerts any time they appear in a tweet. Tweets are found with Twitter's search function, so you'll be alerted to any mathicng tweet even if you don't follow the person who wrote it.

The smart keywords to track would be your own username, so you'll never miss somebody trying to talk to you. Also you can track your company name or website URL so you don't miss any rave reviews (or complaints!)

This is set up inside your account control panel. Click the TweetByMail Tracking tab.

In the first section you can set the alerts by choosing an email address and how often you want to receive emails.

The section section is where you enter the keywords your want to track. One word or phrase at a time. Keep in mind, there is a tight limit on the number of words you can track.
